Rules Manual for the complex

Site Rules for Vacational Rentals

Only owners and guests are allowed to use the facilities of the complex and they must comply with the rules during their stay.
All entrance doors to the building must always be kept closed .

2. RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBOURS:

This property is suitable for younger children. Guests must be fully responsible for the safety of their children during the entire stay and avoid any inconvenience being caused to other residents of the complex.
Guests should keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb other residents, especially between 10:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. and on arrival and departure.
Excessive noise is prohibited at any time, and may lead to eviction, loss of the amount paid for the entire stay and partial loss of the deposit.

Guests must park their vehicles in the car parking space allocated by Mafolín Playa

6. rubbish

Guests must take responsibility for disposing and recycling of rubbish and must not leave any waste in the communal or public areas.
It is prohibited to leave rubbish in your apartment at the end of your stay.
If you leave your apartment excessively dirty, we have the right to make a deduction from your deposit for additional cleaning.

7. Security

When leaving the property, it is the guest’s responsibility to leave all windows and doors locked to keep the property secure and avoid any damage caused by wind or rain
Guests are asked to turn off fans, electrical appliances and water taps when not in use.
Guests are responsible for the apartment keys at all times and requested not to lose or lock them in the apartment.
Please avoid disposing of anything in the toilet (sanitary towels, nappies, tampons etc)

8. swimming pool

It is only permitted to use the swimming pools between the hours of 10am and 10pm
In accordance with the EU legislation the swimming pools are surrounded by a glass fence of which the doors must remain closed to comply with safety regulations.
Los menores de 14 años no pueden estar sin la vigilancia de un adulto.
Children under the age of 14 are not allowed to be in the pools unaccompanied by an adult.
For security reasons surfboards, glass objects, furniture, cutlery, or household items are not allowed in the pool area.
Barbeques, nudist bathing and the reserving of sunbeds is prohibited.

9. terraces / Garden

Children must be supervised at all times whilst on the terraces.
No arrojar ningún tipo de elemento por la terraza, ni tender ropa o cualquier otra cosa en la estructura de la terraza, muro, plantas etc.
Don’t leave anything out on the terrace nor hang clothes or towels on the walls, plants etc
It is forbidden to climb on the pergolas
Take care using awnings and umbrellas on extremely windy days.
The awning of apartment 3 and umbrellas in all apartments must be closed at night.

10. smoking

Smoking is prohibited in any apartment.
Smoking is only allowed on the terrace and cigarette butts must be deposited in the ashtrays provided, not on the floor. Noncompliance of this rule will lead to a loss in deposit.

BBQ’s are prohibited with the exception of Marfolín apartment 34 which has a private BBQ.

Damages must be communicated to the complex manager as soon as possible so the cost can be calculated and deducted from the deposit
To avoid damages its requested that furniture is not moved from one room to another without prior agreement from the manager
Bath towels should only be used in the bathrooms and not taken to the pool or beach.

14. checkout process

During check in the inventory will be checked and then again during check out to ensure the property is left in the same condition.
Guests must vacate the property by 11am on the departure day.
During check in guests must communicate their departure time to the manager to arrange to hand in the keys and check the inventory before leaving.

15. iINFORMATION IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

An entry deposit of € 200 is established. It will be returned in a maximum of 72 hours once the accommodation has been verified to be correct.

17. BREACH OF CONTRACT

Breach of any of the rules assumes a breach of contract with reference to the holiday rental.
Marfolín Playa reserves the right to end the holiday rental if the rules have been broken or if the neighbours have been seriously disrupted.
